Model SR60

AmeriPak's Model SR60 Random Length Horizontal Shrink Wrapper is specifically designed to overwrap products such as window shades, molding, loaves of bread and specialty tubing which are consistent in terms of height and width, but may vary in length,

Equipped with special sensing devices to measure the length of any package, the SR60 makes an end seal at the precise place a seal is required.

The operator places the product on the infeed conveyor belt, which automatically transports the product into a film tube created by an adjustable former. When the product's leading edge reaches a photo-cell, the rotary end crimper cycles, thus sealing that edge. When the trailing edge is sensed, the end crimper rotates again to make the trailing seal.

Because each product is sensed continuously by the wrapper, products of many different lengths can follow one another into the wrapper. Which means you can wrap products of random lengths without the slightest hesitation up to 120' of shrink film per minute. The SR60 can also be furnished to run other type films.
